Frankie Nell Spear, 69

Frankie Spear passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at Skyline Medical Center. Frankie Spear was born October 17, 1940 in the Willow Grove, Tennessee to the late William Cecil and Lillie Chatt (Brown) Spear.
Frankie Spear was a self-employed Dairy Farmer. She was a member of the Cave Spring Church of Christ.
Frankie was preceded in death by her grandson, Noah Winton Spear; brother, Dudley Spear; sisters, Patsy Hagan, Peggy Jones, and Ruby Faye Mabry.
Survivors include:
Husband, Ralph Spear of Clementsville Community; Son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Gina Spear of Clementsville Community; Sisters, Kathy Martin of Gainsboro and Jackie Hedgecoth of Rickman; and Grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Spear.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. til Funeral at Upton Funeral Home

Pauline Craighead, 87

Pauline Craighead passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Pauline Craighead was born May 12, 1922 in the Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Charlie and Mary Etta (Austin) Baker.
Pauline Craighead was retired from the Garment Factory as a Seamstress. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Poe Craighead; sisters, Flossie Coffee, Irene Ramsey, Evelyn Sellers and Virginia Tate
Survivors include:
Sons, Ronnie Craighead of Nashville and Jerry Craighead of Oak Grove Community; daughter, Robbie Gail Johnson of Sarasota, Florida; sisters, Inez Bridges of Cherryville, North Carolina and Geraldine Dellinger of Crouse, North Carolina; grandchildren, Melanie Hale, Jason Hale, Katie Wheeler, Amanda Wheet, Kristie Rich, Heather Johnson, Emily Craighead and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home.

Visitation: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. til Funeral Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home.

Jerry Lee Denton, 72

Jerry Lee Denton passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 at his residence in the Oak Grove Community of Clay County.

Jerry Denton was born January 1, 1938 in the Pine Hill Community of Clay County to Theron and Dora (Hestand) Denton.

Jerry Denton was retired from the Corps of Engineers, a Veteran and a member of the Pine Hill Church of Christ.

Jerry was preceded in death by his son Gregory Lee Denton, and father Theron Denton

Survivors include:

Wife: Ruth Cross Denton of Oak Grove Community, Mother Dora Denton of the Pine Hill Community, sons and daughter-in-laws, Jerry Michael & Kathy Denton of Monterey, Tn. and Brian & Peggy Denton of Carthage, Tn. Larry Eugene Scott, 56

Larry Eugene Scott passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Larry Scott was born March 26, 1953 in Celina, Tennessee to Leonard B. and Opal Jewell (Roach) Scott.

Larry Scott was retired from Sola Heavy Duty and affiliated with the Celina Church of Christ.

Larry was preceded in death by brothers, David and James “Bull” Scott; father-in-law, Mitchell Overstreet.
Survived include:

Wife, Jane Helen (Overstreet) Scott of Celina; mother, Opal Scott of Celina; mother-in-law, Helen Overstreet of Celina; son, Alex Cameron Scott of Celina; daughters, Lara Jillian Scott, Alana Katelyn Scott and Brianna Nicole Scott all of Celina; brother, Allen Scott of Heltonville, Indiana; sisters, Carolyn Cunningham of Moss and Evelyn Farmer of Celina.

Memorial Service: 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Upton Funeral Home.

John Gordon Waddell, 37

John Gordon Waddell passed away December 24, 2009 in Rochester, Minnesota.

John Waddell was born September 30, 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Survivors include:

Father, James Clay Waddell of Dalton, Georgia; mother, Kathleen Waddell of Arizona; brother, Eric Waddell of Dalton, Georgia.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fitzgerald Cemetery.

  Franklin Leon Trobaugh, 68

Franklin Leon Trobaugh passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Monroe County Medical Center.
Franklin Leon Trobaugh was born November 20, 1941 in Hestand, Kentucky to the late James Franklin and Zelma Mae (Smith) Trobaugh.
Franklin Leon Trobaugh was retired from Moss Saw Mills and was affiliated with the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Wife, Pearl Dean Trobaugh of Celina; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Holly Trobaugh & Tony and Angela Trobaugh all of Celina; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Durell Scott & Angie and Bub Netherton all of Celina; brothers, Benny and Dave Trobaugh both of Hestand, Kentucky; sister, Lucille Rhoton of Moss, Mary Trent of Moss and Sheva Powell of Red Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Patricia & (husband) Andy Montgomery, Jonathan & (wife) Casey Scott, Quenton Netherton, Shannon Trobaugh, Cecilia Netherton and Sharon Trobaugh; great grandchildren; Hailey Montgomery and Aiden Scott.

Brenda Faye Dickerson, 43

Brenda Dickerson passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Cumberland River Hospital.
Brenda Dickerson was born July 1, 1966 in Franklin, Indiana. She was a Factory worker and was a affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Brenda was also preceded in death by Grandparents, George and Estille Ellis; grandmother, Ethel Hunley; Aunt, Katherine Hines and cousins, Allen Wayne Pennington.

Survivors include:

Father and step-mother, Sherman and Liz Brown of Celina; mother and step-father, Anna Mae and Mark Potter of Crossville (TN); grandfather, Haskell Brown of Celina; brother, Jimmy Buell of Celina; sister, Beverly Brown of Celina; nephew, Kolby Brown; nieces, Rave Brown, Cherish Pitcock (husband) David and Jessica Sandusky; great nephews, Jace Pitcock; great niece, DeeOnna Norris and a host of aunts and uncles.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Upton Funeral Home
